Sudden Travel: Unexpected or secret "holidays" to a family's country of origin, especially during school breaks.

Forced Marriage Protection Orders (FMPO): These are civil court orders that can be used to prevent a marriage from taking place or to protect someone already in one. They can include requirements like handing over passports to the court.

Criminal Offence: It is illegal to force someone into marriage, and the law applies to both legally binding and religious/traditional ceremonies. Since 2023, it is also illegal for anyone under 18 to marry under any circumstances.
